Villa Kultur er stolte af at kunne præsentere en ny koncertrække for abstrakt musik i samarbejde med pladeselskabet 20_14. Programmet sigter efter at facilitere nye møder, fremhæve kontraster og skabe et imødekommende rum for alternative tilgange til musik.
20_14 er et københavnsk sublabel til Escho, kurateret af trommeslager Rune Kielsgaard, der også arrangerer koncerter med både egne artister og favoritter fra hele verden – bl.a. på Hotel Cecil, Copenhagen Distillery og en række danske festivaler.
Med fokus på samspil og sammenhængskraft inviteres et hold af musikere til at optræde i nye konstellationer. Under præciserede retningslinjer opløses det traditionelle hierarki på scenen, og musikken opstår i øjeblikket – med plads til, at publikum selv kan bevidne den kunstneriske skabelsesproces og skønheden ved det spontane.

Villa Kultur is proud to present a new concert programme for abstract music in collaboration with record label 20_14. The programme aims to facilitate new meetings, frame contrasts and make special room for different perspectives in sound.
20_14 is a Copenhagen sublabel to Escho, curated by drummer Rune Kielsgaard, who also organises shows with local artists and favorites from around the world – among other places at Hotel Cecil, Copenhagen Distillery and a number of Danish festivals.
Focusing on the interplay between artists, a team of musicians are invited to perform together in new constellations. Under precise instructions, the traditional hierarchy is dissolved on stage and the music emerges in the moment – allowing the audience to witness the artistic process and the beauty of spontaneity.
